I think the fundamental gap here is that non-creative people think that creative people make things for the end product, when in fact it’s the act of creation and not the end point that makes it worthwhile.

Hilarious to get the "you don't have trans characters so you're obviously transphobic 😤" bot comment on AO3 on a story where one half of the ship in nonbinary and in a fandom where one of the main characters (who also appears in the fic) is canonically a trans woman. 😂 I don't fall for bots, sorry.

The best thing about today was my neighbor knocking on my door after work and asking if I could take their dog out on a walk tomorrow while he and his wife are both stuck at long work days. I love their dog & she loves me & I love doing favors for my neighbors. Plus now I finally know their names!

My big brave thing of the day is washing a towel. I'm washing lots of towels today, but one of them is one that's been on my floor since I lost Crawford. I put it on the floor to help him when he started having issues walking on the wood floors. I literally cried before I even picked it up.
