Organizers have reported 7 million attendees at the No Kings events and we’re happy to confirm 7 million and counting! More events are still happening across the country today, so we’ll need additional time to fully certify the final numbers.

You don’t stage an intervention for someone you “hate” — quite the opposite. You do it for someone you love and want to see do better. 🇺🇸 #NoKingsDay

The fact you're reluctant to report abuse because there might be negative consequences to your career or life doesn't mean "it must not have been that bad." That fear can be very valid. It's a thing that sucks about the world-- but it doesn't make your pain unreal or invalid.

You are not a burden for telling your story.

If someone's life is negatively impacted by you telling the truth about how they behaved, that's something they did-- not you. Remember. Remember.

It's a good day, a good minute, to remember that if we're not engaging w/ ourselves the way we'd engage w/ a friend or pet we love, including how we talk to ourselves & how we react to our missteps, we're probably still running old trauma programming.

Scratch the record.

Don't think in terms of preventing trauma responses. Focus on how you engage w/ your trauma responses & reducing your vulnerably to trauma responses.

Injuries hurt, & that's not our fault. It's our job to create a lifestyle that realistically facilitates healing.
