Am I correct in thinking that during the 2017 Election the Conservatives were able to receive substantial donations from Russian sources but donated through someone who had dual nationality?

"Boris Johnson was branded a coward as it emerged he could face legal action over failures during the pandemic that led to 23,000 excess deaths. His actions during the pandemic amount to 'one of the gravest betrayals of the British public in modern history'."

In my last three years in Parliament I called for much more robust action on Russian influence in Parliament & on political parties & their influence on funding of election campaigns.MI5 informed me that the high profile Russians in London “had not broken any laws”
Gill’s sentence sets a clear legal benchmark – leaving the way clear for Parliament to finally hold a much-needed inquiry into Kremlin meddling in domestic affairs…

This inquiry cannot help but look at events surrounding the EU Referendum

Who are the manufacturers of WET WIPES? Surely these ghastly polluting items should be banned immediately or their design radically transformed! We have known about these notorious polluting products for years who is lobbying for these people?

Let’s get better at working together all of us who dream of a more open & honest politics.
"The message is not that Trump is innocent, it's that *everyone is guilty.* Everyone assaults women, cheats on their taxes, uses public office for private gain. Propriety and following the rules? That stuff is for suckers. In a world of grift and graft, the most corrupt man should be king."
Why Trump can't make the Epstein scandal go away
His ordinary scandal management techniques are not working.

We must never forget Gert and every other victim of this inhumanity.
17 November 1934 | A German Jewish boy, Gert Loewenstein, was born in Aken. He emigrated to the Netherlands.

He was deported from Westerbork to #Theresienstadt ghetto in January 1944 and on 16 May 1944 deported to #Auschwitz. He was murdered after the selection in a gas chamber.

"It might take our producers five minutes to find 60 economists who feared Brexit and five hours to find a sole voice who espoused it. But by the time we went on air we simply had one of each; we presented this unequal effort to our audience as balance. It wasn't."

Surely no sane or sensible human being would want to swap the BBC for global moguls owning & manipulating our local regional national & global news? Tory governments placed their people in senior BBC management and a Tory Newspaper stirred the pot.

Surely we must now ban all open fires and all wood burning stoves with a fine for persistence and a small level of compensation for lower income house-holds.
“Open fires and wood burning stoves are one of the biggest sources of small pollution particles. This fine particulate matter (PM2.5) can penetrate deep into the lungs and bloodstream and affect every organ in the body.”
Wood burning fires in homes linked to 2,500 deaths a year in the UK, report says
Wood burners produce a fine particulate matter linked to thousands of asthma and diabetes cases

The WHO is the same so dependent on finding friends & donors with access to lots of cash. This undermines effectiveness & deeply damages its reputation and independence.

Bravo Bernie speaking truth to tyrants as usual! Keep going!
Yes, Mr. President: You’re right. We do have “the worst health care” of any major country.

Despite spending twice as much per capita, we are the only major country not to guarantee health care to all as a human right.

The solution: Medicare for All.

Let’s also honour them by providing their descendants today with great education skills-good jobs amazing homes & healthcare. That is what they also fought for!
It was a privilege to lay a wreath at the Nottingham War Memorial today, in memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice to defeat fascism, and lives lost in all wars.

Let us honour them by striving towards a world in which everybody has the right to freedom and sovereignty.

His idea was to unite the French and German coal and steel industries after WWII.

He is Jean Monnet. And today, on his birthday, we honour his role in building the EU as we know it today.
