Whelp, I had an e-bike for all of a month before it got stolen.
Lucky me, the insurance claim process requires a police report, so I spent my morning at the Van Nuys PD since for some reason, you can’t report a stolen e-bike online.
Now I wait 3-5 business days for someone to call me back. ✌🏻

Of course they want to keep ICE. The violence bar they have cleared is useful to those in power. Lowering it slightly looks like progress but still keeps boots on necks.
Any time someone proposes reforming instead of abolishing ICE, it bears noting that ICE is currently violating a bunch of federal court injunctions, plus their own policies.

My god just had the most LA moment. Earlier today while I was walking back from the store, ran into a woman wearing a very specific shirt. We did the white people passing on the sidewalk smilesmirk and kept moving.
