I went proper in the store grocery shopping today and was able to get most of the shopping done before my back started to hurt and I didn’t feel panicked at all despite us doing two big errand runs beforehand.

Looking back on some of the signs from right before Vincent passed, I think he’d started having kidney problems and the medicine the doctor put him on (while rare) can cause kidney issues. I think that’s probably what took him from me.

One thing that was just for Vincent and me is that on the rare occasion that I would eat cereal he’d stand beside me and wait because he knew that if he was patient then I’d let him lick the last few drops of the milk out of the bowl.

Some home, ordered delivery Mexican, played a little Pokémon, decided to rest for a little bit before I did the dishes, slept until midnight and now I’m awake and Brian and I just gave up going back to sleep for now. But I feel refreshed at least.
