A Republican president once picked Ben Bernanke—a future Nobel laureate—because expertise mattered more than spin. That norm, picking Fed chairs for brains not loyalty, does more to protect your paycheck than any campaign slogan.

Safe to say Marjorie Taylor Greene’s divorce from Donald Trump is final.

“After President Trump called me a traitor, I got a pipe bomb threat on my house.”

“I stood for women who were raped when they were 14 years old. And the president that I fought for… called me a traitor for that.”

It’s totally reasonable to not want a vice president who is a bigot.

It's beyond annoying that the media discusses Trump's policies & the nonsense he spews like he is a normal person & not a dementia ridden racist pedophile, who somehow fooled enough Americans to vote for him anyway.

My favorite part of Seattle isn't the rain

or the infrastructure to move the rained rain

or the hills that speed up the removal of rain

but rather the civil planners a lifetime ago that decided it was a good idea to PLANT TREES THAT LOSE ALL THEIR FCKIN LEAVES EVERY TIME IT RAINS ON EVERY STREET.

Can you get more authoritarian than permitting your government to kill whoever they want without legal process or accountability? We are there. Maga thinks they are free until the day ice comes for their guns. But we are not free .

Projection is strong with Brian here.

Studies have found for men, the lack of a partner is the single biggest predictor of loneliness. Yet for women it is far less so because women are kin-keepers and architects of community so they have more sources of connection.

I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about Don Jr receiving a massive loan for his startup from the Pentagon. I guess when there’s so much corruption some things fly under the radar?
