We don't know what's happening, but there's no good news here. As long as we keep burning fossil fuels, the world will continue to become more dangerous and chaotic.
Scientists thought they understood global warming. Then the past three years happened.
The fastest warming period since 1880 occurred in the past 30 years, according to a Washington Post analysis of NASA data.

So, peanut butter?

If butter is a protected term in the same way as milk, we’re going to need to come up with an alternative name.

Pulverised peanuts.
Peanut mush.
Peanut gunge.

Feel like this needs to be a collective effort. Please add your own!

There are nearly 100 flood warnings in place across England.

This is the wettest winter I can remember, yet we still are not seeing serious action to be prepared for the risks. Our infrastructure is not built for the extreme weather events that are becoming more frequent.

We are changing the climate of our planet faster than in the known history of our world.

Methane reached a record high of 1946.5 ppb!

That's already much higher than the peak of the mid range climate scenario SSP2-4.5, which peaks at ~1905 ppb in 2030!
