Feeling really healthy today! But not going to let my guard down.

Got to keep #Pacing if I'm to avoid overexertion and the potential return of my debilitating #LongCovid #PostExertionalMalaise symptoms.

Weekly #NuffieldHealth gym session was so much fun!

bsky.app/profile/benk...
I used to burn through 8-10 #VisibleHealth PacePoints in my weekly gym sessions. Now I use just a handful of PP.

RESTING properly in-between each activity allows my HR to return to a resting pace and I barely work-up a sweat.

WHO said ‘hundreds of millions will suffer post covid condition’ this I believe was 2023. @ashleydaltonmp.bsky.social Why are Labour not talking about this cause of sickness, which we were informed quite clearly about.

& that's despite running for longer than usual, within my two 5-minute Treadmill sessions. It felt so easy & I felt light as a feather 😆

Checking-in with my #KiActiv smartwatch (movement) data, I've used 26 minute of today's 60 minutes of 'Moderate' exertion quota.

& 1 min of 'Vigorous' exercise 🙏

As a society we also need to think about why it's OK to exclude kids from even the limited protections offered by occupational health and safety rules, even in places like schools where they are forced to be present. Kids should be *more* protected than an adult working in a steel mill, not less.

Here's what bad air quality alone does to mental function (not counting long COVID etc, just rebreathing air in a poorly ventilated space like a school bus, and only up to 2,500 ppm). Even with qualified drivers that endangers our kids.

💯 Even ignoring COVID, if people really looked into the infrastructure quality in schools they would be shocked. The air in classrooms and on school buses can build up enough CO2 in it that it's impairing cognition on its own (e.g. window closed vs open effects on the bus in the cold AM vs warm PM).

When it comes to climate change, methane is a notorious super-polluter.

And LNG, which stands for liquefied "natural gas", is primarily made up of...you guessed it...methane. 😷
Can methane cuts pull us back from the brink of climate breakdown?
With temperatures breaching the Paris limit, experts say tackling the powerful gas could buy crucial time as the clean-energy shift stalls

Absolutely devastating report from Stanford on Brexit’s impact.

📉Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%.
📉The Treasury would have £40bn more each year if Britain had remained in the EU.

Imagine the Chancellor could do with that extra money this week more than most!

...And, of course, a key factor in my ability to reset and recover overnight is that I invariably sleep well.

A good night's sleep EVERY night is something I never take for granted - I've been a parent of three small children!

In this very busy week ahead, I'll keep #Micropacing to avoid #PEM

Tehran is on the brink of a severe water crisis.

Multiple factors have left the city unprepared for the current drought, including population growth, mismanagement, and sanctions, but a rapidly warming climate is only adding to their problems.

#LongCovid continues disabling people because the #Covid19 pandemic is not suddenly 'over' just because we all want it to be!
