First Bluesky post in ages. Just to say, my previously under bed cat is now a friendly sofa cat who just wants strokes and fuss.
A year ago he wouldn't come near a human. Now, he just wants strokes - from me, but we'll get there with other people. What a lad. @thecatreviewer.bsky.social

I've relied upon the BBC as a news source for years now. Impartial and accurate, it's kinda what news should be.
But increasingly it pushes right wing stories. Opinion is leaking into it. Doesn't take a genuins to work out how and why.

A few views from my ride own to Litlington (on the Cuckmere river) today.
70 miles, mostly into the wind, but consistent sun and quiet roads/byways made it enjoyable. #Cycling

An reason to ignore AI overviews and click through to websites. Not fool-proof, but better.
Meta have stolen the work of 1000s of writers to train their AI. All of my books were included in their illegal action.

Today UK authors are protesting against this theft.

"Why did you cancel your trip to the US this year?"
Not sure if this has been shared here yet, but this is video of Rumeysa Ozturk's arrest posted by WCVB. It's terrifying.

Now looking at a spatial view of temperature anomalies during the December to February 2025 period again highlights the relative Arctic warmth and lack of cold departures to be found anywhere outside of the central Pacific.

A lovely little wander and beach comb at Long Rock. Lots of evidence of the industry, and dumped materials, from the Victorian period and early 1900s.
