wow really glad I took these photos of my December roses yesterday morning because last night I LEFT THE BACK YARD GATE OPEN and BAMBI GOT IN so this morning all the rose bushes are super pruned. Right down to the nubs. Totally my fault. #garden #woes 🌱

way to go, Hut! ❤️
12:20 P.M. at Hilltop. 69F with clear skies. No haze! Quite a few visitors to the overlook; a family enjoying a picnic lunch on the grass. No lizards or boids, but one cute doggo, a small, stout fellow who resembles a meatloaf. No PT today, but my lap around the circular path was wobbly nonetheless.

I agree, that struck me as missing what was actually annoying about Shannon.
Jeff complained in his On Fire podcast that fans were mean to Shannon earlier in the season just for being about “flowers and love.” 🙄

No, Jeff, that is NOT the reason we didn’t like Shannon. Get a clue.

ha ha ha ha! I was wondering where this was going -- very funny!
It’s 5846.

The world has ended.

Aliens have taken over.

Nothing remains.

Rizo still hasn’t played the idol.

Rand Paul tells me that he wants the full video of the Venezuelan boat strike released.

“And I think if the public sees images of people clinging to boat debris and being blown up, I think that there is a chance that finally, the public will get interested enough in this to stop this.”

KICK-ASS 4.3-mile #run this morning, felt like slogging thru molasses but even at 12:25-minute miles, with an overall elevation gain of 168', completing more than 4 miles at this point in my #training is outstanding. Very pleased!

You know how the gramma in “Parenthood” sucks in some helium & then says “When I was a little girl, Grover Cleveland was President”?

Well, when I was a little girl, a candy bar was 5 ¢ - I shit you not.

When they went up to 10 ¢ I was outraged. Wrappers boasted that the bar was bigger.

Right!!!!!
I skipped my visit to Hilltop today. PT pretty much wore me out and I had some other stuff to do. But there's tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow after all. Right? I said RIGHT?????

Very nice!
This composition had eluded me for nearly a decade, but yesterday I was finally able to capture it. A train rolled through just as the Duquesne Incline was crossing over the tracks in #Pittsburgh, creating a picture perfect winter scene. It was worth the hours and hours I've waited over the years.

I've been asking this question for what seems like years.

Thank you for giving me an answer I can understand.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Any constellations you can see year round look the same winter & summer, which are viewpoints about 2x93 = 186 million miles apart. So anywhere in the inner solar system should be similar. Beyond that, as you traveled much farther out things would gradually look different.

3.8-mile #hike this morning up on the Ridge Trail. Lots of beautiful scenery. A couple of coyotes, too (also beautiful).

this photo makes me ask, again, if the constellations we name & identify from earth would be recognizable from 'outer space'?
It was cold out in that field at 4am this morning!
But worthwhile just to get my own unimpressive photos of interstellar comet 3I/Atlas. 🔭
December 3, 2025 at 4:09 PM
the opening sentence in the VICE article made me laugh right out loud at the breakfast table.

Upon reading the article I finally understand references to 3I/ATLAS which I've heretofore seen only in defiant comments re: NASA Insta posts (Mars photo: "fake! AI! why can't we get a clear photo of 3I!")

#Interstellar
Interstellar is a Christmas movie. While they're on the knee-deep water planet 23 Christmases happen.
The original "Planet of the Apes" is a Christmas movie. In the first ten minutes alone it has like 2,000 Christmases.
