This is the correct take re: block lists. I am all for block early and often, but not for turning it over to someone else.
This isn't exactly relevant to the specific people mentioned above but blocklists philosophically surrender personal curation to a black hole that most blocklist users don't keep track of & thus never get exposed to users they might like bc one person running a blocklist dislikes that other user.
I believe retail politics still works! Especially in a local election!
Co-sign except I think Cashman and Olsen win.
The list of “progressive accomplishments” in this article is pretty much all bog standard democratic platform items, and if he wants to position himself as a progressive he should probably stop crying “hE’s A sOcIaLiSt!!l at the other guy 7 times a day.

I noticed today I ALWAYS put the left leg in first. I cannot explain this. I’m not sure I could put the right leg on first.
I bought something like this off Amazon for like $15, but it has about 40 bits! And a few, like the small Torx bits, can be real life savers!
What is the best cheap tool that has repeatedly come through for you?

I’ll grant it’s not super cheap, but a basic leatherman or similar with knife, pliers, screw driver, and a few other things is absolutely worth it. Helps if you, like me, are a bit outdoorsy and take it camping, etc.

$20 instant read thermometer completely changed my kitchen game. I'd throw out my cast iron, all my le creuset, I'd swap all my knives for playskool scissors before I got rid of this thing. If you don't own one you're fucking up
The stuff the follows is also not correct, re traffic speeds, parking, and access. This has been studied. The answers are known.
About to ride to Northfield into the teeth of a 15 mph headwind. Have 3.5 hours to make the swim meet. Oh and it’s 50% gravel. Please pray 4 ya boi.

Last night of the year (that I’m willing) to smoke stuff:
“Yeah make sure to prominently feature the ugliest building downtown. Sure make it even bigger!”
We just put food in front her and walk away.
The way our teenager will a) be hangry b) asked if she’s hungry c) deny it d) admit she skipped lunch and e) not put the 4 together…
They just played Back In Black!! You bet I’m furious!
I’ve heard that restaurants have a giant pot that cooks like 75 batches of pasta in a night in basically the same water and THAT is the magic stuff.
