7 million at #NoKings and counting!
Organizers have reported 7 million attendees at the No Kings events and we’re happy to confirm 7 million and counting! More events are still happening across the country today, so we’ll need additional time to fully certify the final numbers.

#Nebraska Governor Pillen is considering building a concentration camp in this state. We need to make some noise to #resist this.

Please call/write his office to tell him NO CONCENTRATION CAMPS in Nebraska (or anywhere)!

I know the spin can be extreme, but anyone who was at Rep. Flood's town hall and thought that those opinions "do not reflect genuine voter sentiment" are ignoring letters, calls, and town halls full of their constituents telling them these policies are hurting Nebraskans. Trust me, it's genuine.
Furious voters are flooding lawmakers’ town halls. Republicans aren’t worried.
The explosive events could reflect broad backlash to GOP governance. Or they might be just another outgrowth of political polarization.

Vaccine refusal, encouraged by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has now led to the worst U.S. measles outbreak since the disease was classified as eliminated in 2000.

This was preventable. Vaccines save lives and prevent hospitalizations that are physically, mentally, and financially draining.

Leaving the country is a privilege.

Not all solutions are accessible to everyone.

We need robust community care to ensure people aren’t left behind.

After losing the battle yesterday, my wheels are turning on how to support the folks the disaster will hurt? Came across the term "Mutual Aid". How do we get mutual aid capabilities in place before the shit hits the fan with this bill?
I have to do some research!

Reps. Bacon, Flood and Smith all voted for the budget bill, which will cause thousands of Nebraskans to lose health care and pour money into detaining and deporting our immigrant friends, family members and neighbors. This is cruel and way out of step with what Nebraskans want.

Citing the federal Medicaid cuts Republicans are jamming through the House today, a rural Nebraska hospital is closing.

Medicaid cuts don’t just impact individuals. It disrupts the entire system.

I’m begging Rep Don Bacon, please vote NO.

To our fellow Nebraskans -- every hospital closure, person who loses insurance, hungry child, and cancelled summer school and after school program -- the representatives we elected voted for that. They are not representing us. We have to demand better.
