There’s a group of like 20 Tunisians at the hotel I’m staying at and they’re all sitting on the steps blocking the way for people to get up. I can’t escape them, they’re so rude and inconsiderate.

that whole 'this country isn't ready for a woman president' line is really upsetting because it shows exactly how neoliberalism works, redirecting blame from issues of policy (or lack thereof) onto a flattened, vague type of sexism in a way that ultimately doesn't even challenge sexism!
