Well, I've been experimenting today with a 14th-century turnip pottage recipe.
But this is no peasant dish! With spices and saffron, it was fit for a king (Richard II, in fact).

Ich habe nun „Vermächtnis der Magier“, Band 2 der High-Fantasy-Saga „Adain Lit“ von E. M. Ascher, beendet. Anfangs ein wenig zäh nimmt das Buch dann doch Fahrt auf und ist bis zum Schluss ein spannender Ritt zwischen Licht und Dunkel.
