While Amazon touts the surveillance state enabled by its Ring cameras, remember...

Amazon's U.S. tax bill dropped by 87% in 2025, mostly thanks to Trump's tax cuts.

Meanwhile, its profits jumped by 45% to nearly $90 billion — and it announced 30,000 job cuts.

Is this the world we want to live in?

What is America doing to hold the Epstein class accountable?

We need to haul these powerful men before Congress.

They should just hire 404Media as the inspector general of government surveillance tech. It would be more efficient and more accurate.
The inspector general is investigating whether ICE’s surveillance is legal. Even if this doesn’t result in any changes it will likely result in more details about how these systems work and that will hopefully be useful: www.404media.co/inspector-ge...

DHS is using biometric identification systems — filming protesters and legal observers.

They are creating a surveillance state. That’s why I introduced the ICE Out of My Face Act to protect our freedoms and our democracy.

"we can't abolish ICE; we need border enforcement."

ICE is only 25 years old. most countries do not in fact treat huge numbers of people as human refuse who we should assume should be ejected.

we don't need to live like this.

Palantir, AT&T, Dell, Motorola, General Dynamics, L3, FedEx, Comcast, and Charter Communications have the largest contracts with ICE.

In 2025, lawmakers traded at least $6.8 million in those companies’ stock as the GOP-controlled Congress increased ICE funding by $75 billion.

The Wyden Siren: Senator’s Cryptic CIA Letter Follows A Pattern That’s Never Been Wrong
If you've been paying attention to surveillance and civil liberties issues over the past fifteen years, you've likely learned to recognize a particular pattern. Senator Ron Wyden will occasionally send a public letter that essentially says "hey, I can't tell you what's happening because it's classified, but something really bad is going on and you should all be paying attention."

NEW: Senator Ed Markey just introduced a critical bill that would ban ICE and CBP from buying or using facial recognition technology to go after our communities.

Congress must pass the ICE Out of My Face Act and use their funding power to rein in these out-of-control agencies.
