So... my mom founded the first black rehab center out here in South Phoenix in the 70s. They named another one after her that was for women only. Some lady, got clean, changed her life and named her baby after my mom. There's a BABY named Elba, as a cautionary tale to never do crack.

One thing I absolutely hate about the internet is non black people using our colloquialisms. Have ZERO point of reference so they don't even know what they're actually saying, the joke, or where it's from. Also branding it as Gen Z slang, and I'm like "my grandma been saying this my entire life" 😩
