I know people are going to be divisive about the Peacemaker 2 finale, but some of those speeches written by @jamesgunn.bsky.social felt like they were talking to me personally. I was cut to the bone with 1 in particular.

Tron Ares was good not great but never boring. It makes a case for seeing it in IMAX because the picture and NIN score is just incredible.

For anyone lamenting how some goon was able to get a publishing deal - put together your own book! Create a solid concept, do some planning, create a design, and pitch it! Most publishers don't have open pitch seasons. They want to see someone that can see a full project to completion.

I would wager that the Series brand is Microsoft’s Dreamcast before going all in on 3rd party and subs. If video games just become costly Nintendo software and renting digital software disguised as purchases on PC, I’m out.

Reflecting on early to mid 00s via EP classic, my feelings of PlayStation specifically are:

PS1-2: a lot of affordable games not for everyone. But there were big games for everyone.

Modern: expensive games designed with everyone in mind, and if you don’t vibe, then attachment to a brand dies.
