That is an enormously busy freeway!! It connects San Diego and LA, so I’m guessing JD & 🎃 thought they’d cut off traffic to No Kings in SD?

Conducting a live fire exercise over a civilian highway is fucking stupid.

It doesn’t really matter if I-5 fell within the minimum acceptable risk threshold for the exercise. Those standards are designed for controlled environments, not civilian highways.

Agreed. I can not see any cleverness or intelligence within Trump. He is breathtakingly stupid, and woefully (and willfully) ignorant about how pretty much EVERYTHING works. He is perhaps the very poster child for full-spectrum Dunning-Kruger effect.

As for Musk, I feel this summarizes him well:

Once, I was applying for assistance because I was recovering from having been ill. It only lasted for a few months but helped me enormously.
I made some comment to the Social Worker and she sighed and said I have seen innumerable kindnesses between family members. It has stayed with me 🙏🏼

OK, so our "Secretary of War" currently has two big priorities: (1) murdering innocent fishermen in the Caribbean, and (2) endangering the lives of commuters in Southern California.

Perhaps, we are seeing one of the downsides to having a drunk TV talk show chatterbox running our military.
