LAPD shoves an unhoused woman to the ground so hard her skull cracks open and she’s knocked unconscious. They then carry her to the curb, prop her up and abandon her. Witnesses took her to the ER.

Hitler didn’t have to convince anyone. Trump doesn’t gave to convince anyone. The people just have to be given permission by someone in authority to behave in the evil ways that thrill them. A sizable portion of humanity is inherently evil and it can only be contained for so long.
I used to wonder how Hitler was able to convince so many to be so cruel. I don't wonder anymore. If someone can convince people to believe absurdities they can make them commit atrocities. Voltaire said that in the 1700s. I understand it now.

Approx 40% of hospital revenue comes from medicaid and medicare. I work in a health care industry and our percentages are the same. I am betting a vast number of private physicians too. Many of these providers are going close. No business can survive a sustained 40% reduction in revenue.
I'm a Nebr farmer. GOP, but have never voted for DJT. Most of my friends did. Totally uninformed. One thought we were the only country helping Ukraine. Only listens to Fox. Will be a tough year-low grain prices, high costs for repairs, farm insurance shot up. Rural hospitals are worried.

Lia Thomas being the standard bearer of trans athletes was a historic mistake. It strikes anyone who has competed as obviously unfair, and sticking with that despite all that has happened perpetuates being in the political wilderness. Kids soccer teams are one thing, D1 NCAA is another.

I differ in my opinion only in that trump is not the mastermind behind any of this. Trump just agreed to be the face of the movement. He was no doubt guaranteed alot of money and a false promise of him being considered a historic savior of the white people. A savior of the “true america”.
What we all seemingly failed to understand is just how many of our "countrymen" were perfectly willing to resort to treason to end democracy. And all in service of a convicted felon and lifelong conman who wasn't even very good at it.
