And there we have it folks, having failed to do anything to halt the injury and death toll on our roads the government now plans to criminalise cycling.

This will kill bike share schemes around the country. @bleeperactive.bsky.social

I spotted a dog earlier running up and down the road looking for it's owner. I tried to coax it towards me so I could check the dog tag and call the owner, but it ran off.

Woke up at 5.00am this morning, with an aching back and aching knee. I couldn't get comfortable, and I started thinking about work, so I got up.

It gives me lots of time to enjoy a pot of tea before the day starts.

TD resigns from the Justice committee - not when he was caught breaking the law - but when he was convicted some 10 months later. That's real moral leadership.
A Fianna Fáil TD who was caught driving at over 190km/h on a motorway in Cork last March has apologised and announced he is leaving the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Justice.

"We tried to deliver but you weren't home"

Yeah, no. I was home the whole time, and I have a Ring doorbell that proves you never came.

I would prefer couriers to just say "We ran out of time to get to you today" instead of making up a fake delivery fail.
