The fact that people are allowed to store their cars in the street is really weird - after all, a car is an individual's own private property and their responsibility. I can't think of a single other item you can store in public in this way.

Ideas for the housing crisis:
1. The planning process should be tested hack-a-thon style to identify weaknesses, remove wasteful delays and hinder abuse.
"Lock all key stakeholders in a room" and only let them out once a thoroughly tested and improved system is found. 1/

I may have solved the municipal speed cameras issue. We can pull the speed cameras and instead install speed regulators in all vehicles. It slows down our streets without 'punishing' drivers with a so-called cash grab.
