Disk Jockey for Windows has been updated!
Version 1.6 adds support for the Snow emulator and lets you inject HFS and ProDOS partitions from other Mac disk images into your own (you're no longer limited to simple .img or .image files).

BlueSCSI Toolbox 1.0.2 released:
Fix issue with 0 byte files
Fix issue with logo not appearing sometimes
Fix apps not quitting on shutdown
Fix handling file names exactly 32 chars long

Notable non-code feature is BlueSCSI Toolbox now works in the Snow Emulator - I used it to prep this release!

Both of these computers have been sitting around since I got them as part of a bundle and I usually use my LC 575. Installed MacBatt and BlueSCSI (using my 575 drives images lol) and they both work perfectly!

Now the real question is what should I do with the both of them. Besides a cleaning.

New blog post! When you want to replace an aging SCSI disk, you go buy a #BlueSCSI. What happens if you want a cheaper BlueSCSI? You can order the parts and build one. What if you want one that costs more AND is more work? Now we're talking. #retrocomputing

A lot of newer computers need what is called “a hard drive,” and as I work on 16- and even 32-bit ones, I’m finding more need for SCSI drives. There’s already lots of great SCSI emulators out there, b...

In the way BlueSCSI rescues old computers with failed hard drives, I wish there were a universal thing that could save old laptops by replacing their screens with modern ones that are more power efficient with better backlighting.

Like RGBtoHDMI but with LVDS and whatever laptops used before that.

Another night, another photo of my monitor teasing what I'm working on.
A monitor showing the DOS benchmarking tool SpeedSys. There's a CD performance benchmark graph showing average read speed of 6921kB/s - 46.14 X and max of 6995 kB/s - 46.63 X.

Hey so much like last year at #VCFWest I’ll be kinda doing a thing with @bluescsi.com. If you come by my table and play your cards right (or the sea slugs like you) you may leave with a promo code for a free BlueSCSI! I’ll also have a number of free shipping codes available too.

Do you use your Classic Mac for business operations? I do. I print BlueSCSI instruction sheets from mine on a Laserwriter.

#Macintosh SE/30 ready to go. Clean with #BlueSCSI, #retrobrite, and recap.

Used the brush on technique with SalonCare 30 Volume Creme Developer. Requires brushing a bit more on every 15 minutes to prevent streaking for about 90 minutes in the sun.

Played with the new Macintosh emulator snow a bit more and have it emulating the @bluescsi.com Toolbox API! Can transfer files back and forth.

Logo resource isn’t loading for some reason but functions!

Hey everyone!

Polar Filament is color matching Powerbook Grey! To do a production run, though, they need a critical mass of committed buyers.

They haven't set up a pre-order page, but I'm letting you all know now so you can be prepared!

I'll drop a pre-order link when available.
