We cannot normalize this federal occupation of Minneapolis.

It is not normal to watch people abducted in front of our eyes—dragged from car windows, pulled from their homes, and children left without parents.

This is not about immigration. It’s about unchecked cruelty.

The fact that @schumer.senate.gov is still in leadership and has not been pushed out is an objectively fatal blow to this party. It is a truly insidious betrayal of voters and there could not be a clearer indicator that the Democratic Party has no intention of leading us out of this nightmare.

So gross! Leavitt, Weiss, Dokoupil, these are the slimiest fucking people around.
Please listen to the audio of this Dokoupil-Leavitt exchange (halfway into the story, free link below) so you can hear the way he says, "Yeah, we're doing it, yeah."

He sounds like an Olive Garden waiter who was just asked to bring another bowl of breadsticks.

Man, The Rip had a really strong setting and premise. I think it had the potential to be a kind of neo-noir, new age Reservoir Dogs. Unfortunately it kind of devolved into generic crime thriller territory where all of the built up tension gets released in chaotic fashion. Still enjoyed it though.
