Coral sketeton remains - Fort Rill, Willemstad, Curaçao. Observed during a nautical bimble around the Caribbean earlier this month.

The stony remains of coral skeletons showing the open end cells that would have contained the living coral polyps. The remains are used in construction and this piece had been built into one of the fort walls in Fort Riff in Willenstad in Curaçao.
