the Macintosh System 7 was the first W I D E S C R E E N Macintosh.
A picture of a small LCD hand-held game device probably from the early 80s in some dimension or another. It's a silvery beige brushed metal device with a d-pad, button, GAME A, GAME B and TIME buttons, and a little Apple logo and Macintosh System 7 logotype below it. Onscreen is a little fixed greyscale LCD with colour background display that doesn't have any really obvious way of doing anything whatsoever.

I'm dedicating today's #retromonday to the iconic city-building simulator #simcity. Starting with the original, I spent a lot of time playing the sequel #simcity2000. Of course, this includes the great solution and strategy books #retrogaming #dosgaming #retromontag

#Protext für den #Commodore128 - meine ersten Schritte in Textverarbeitung. In der Grundschule gab es sogar zwei Ausgaben einer Schülerzeitung. Ich weiß nicht, wo du Originaldisketten von damals sind. Aber seit ein paar Tagen habe ich endlich Ersatz. #retromontag #retro #retrocomputing #commodore
Ein weißer Software-Ordner von Markt & Technik mit der Aufschrift „128er-Software PROTEXT“. Darunter steht: „Die Profi-Textverarbeitung mit vollautomatischer Silbentrennung, integrierter Tabellenkalkulation und Zusatzprogramm zum Überprüfen der Rechtschreibung für den Commodore 128 PC.“ Geöffneter Softwareordner von Markt & Technik mit Ringordner. Links steckt eine Diskettenhülle mit zwei 5,25”-Disketten für die PROTEXT-Software, rechts befindet sich das Handbuch mit dem Titel „PROTEXT“ für den Commodore 128. Ein Commodore-1084-Monitor zeigt den Startbildschirm der Textverarbeitungssoftware „PROTEXT“. Zum #retromontag zeige ich euch heute das Point‘n‘Click-Adventure zu „Plan 9 aus dem All“. Ob es besser ist als der Film (gemeinhin bekannt als der „schlechteste Film aller Zeiten“ kann man leicht selbst feststellen, der lag nämlich als #VHS der #bigbox bei. #retro #dosgaming #retrogaming
