I will follow you back if you're an academic in history, computational sociology, or hard science. If you make things with your hands like art or furniture, that's cool.

I will block you if you trade anything or offer advice on trading whether it's crypto or securities.
I decided to go for a ponytail. Currently at the worst look stage.

Reminder that Violent J of Insane Clown Posse has the correct response to a lot of the shitty things he said in the early days.
Still over 1000 a day. Unsustainable because they don't have training. So more die.
We really need to start popping people in the mouths for how they talk about Muslims
Today, Homeland Security applies terror tactics in order to create fear in victim populations.
In order to create a fear response, you need to have circumstances that justify it. Did the 9/11 attack create a situation that propaganda and marketing experts used to their advantage?

EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.

There may be things that force different behavior, but it's a rule of thumb sort of "truism". There are reserves and there may be a few really big lawsuits that get adjusted when they close out.
You don't close out a year for five years because of reserves and long tail claims.
Nailed it! Is that a plastic coating?
A Bubble: Donald Trump has not yet consolidated anything like absolute political power. But parts of our society — the Republican Party and a number of supposedly independent institutions like, say, CBS — are in effect living inside a bubble in which they operate as if he has. via Paul Krugman
Experimental setup including double blind with controls and a decent number of subjects? People always say, but it's students. But when it goes on for 20 years with no improvement, it's time.

1/ The Russian warblogger Maxim Kalashnikov says that on parts of the front line, the ratio of killed and wounded is "almost 1:1 already". His friend Yuri Yevich blames Ukrainian drones for preventing evacuations at any time of the day or night. ⬇️

"We don't abandon our own!" The russian occupiers from the evacuation team couldn't properly tie a wounded comrade to his motorcycle with a tourniquet, so they simply threw him into the woods. They'll write him down as "missing in action".

Hero’s of the day - In a small town of Beckley, WV, Kendra Sullivan staged a one-woman No Kings protest. She was confronted, had the police called on her, but stood her ground. She was physically threatened. Police came more than once and protected her right to protest. This is how we do it.
