AIDS decimated the #LGBT community. In the 80s, I stopped counting the number of people I knew who died horrible deaths.

Since 1988, December 1st has been World AIDS Day, when people mourn those who died. Trump has cancelled it. He's trying to erase LGBT people!

She told the Commons: “We on this side of the House do not believe that the solution to a broken welfare system is to punish the most vulnerable children” 👏

Not only did Brexit not provide any extra money for the NHS - as liar-in-chief Boris Johnson promised - but Brexit is impoverishing the UK each year by an amount of money not far off the annual NHS budget.

Thanks Farage.

Taxes to do not pay for public services. Govt money creation, mainly via the issuing of bonds, does. But, putting aside that lie, I would pay more tax for better public services. The problem is so much has been privatised that our taxes are creamed off by profiteering private firms. That I object to

My feeling toward RFK Jr. and the Republican Senators who confirmed him is utter contempt.

There are some doctors who have “weaponised” antisemitism too - let alone ministers - via malicious GMC referrals.
Government is accused of ‘weaponising’ antisemitism to silence doctors on Gaza.

I was at a geographic photography exhibition during the summer by a Mexican. One of the featured posters was of Venezuela. It said that about 8m. people had fled economic collapse due to US sanctions. They went to neighbouring impoverished countries such as Colombia. Many walked by night. Dangerous.
When they attack Venezuela, the regime and its lapdog press is going to saturate the zone with propaganda. Just try to remember that there are completely innocent people on the receiving end of the missiles and bombs.

By 2030 approx 14 million people will have died.
