Few things give me greater pleasure than a dog with a serious face diligilently carrying a fluffy duck or panda down the street.

I've seen a few Boro fans saying that if Tommy Conway had taken his chance last night, it would have completely changed the game. And they're right. We'd have got beat 4-3 instead.

Yesterday's Paddy Kingsland feature went down well, so here's the huge Radiophonic Workshop feature I wrote for @electronicsound.bsky.social in 2023. I spoke to Paddy, Roger Limb, Dick Mills, Peter Howell, Brian Hodgson and Mark Ayres and joyousness abounds.

Oh, this feels awful. The Stone Roses were a massive part of my teens, those delicious years of expanding horizons and gentle freedoms. I got the first album for Christmas when I was 18, and it became the soundtrack to all of the above. I'm so, so sad to hear this.

I can't place this, but can anyone help @pgofton.bsky.social?
For decades, I've had a section of a postapocalyptic(?) 80s(?) teen(?) novel stuck in my mind. IIRC there's an opening bit where a kid is on a cliff overlooking the sea and a Navy vessel goes by covered in dead bodies. Anyone? @bobfischer.bsky.social ?
