-Raising the pension age
-Raising taxes

The state pension in the UK is not too low as alternate provisions exist especially now with employers forced to contribute to pensions.

State Pension should be means tested, millionaires do not need it, as well as an end to the Triple Lock.

If done we could be more generous with those who do need

It has now made it to the top of BBC. Yikes 😬

"With the rise of antisemitism, and recent horrific attacks, I know this has added to the distress of many in the Jewish community in the UK," he [Keir Starmer] added."

What a time to make this gaffe. It looks absolutely terrible.

Not another pointless Zelensky-Trump White House meeting…😬

I bet the follow-up call with Putin is already scheduled.

It's so painful to hear the glib way in which Trump describes a war of invasion causing so many innocent deaths and horrors in Ukraine.

Since no-one appears to be talking about it on here, just letting you know that the the PM, Foreign Secretary and various other Government Ministers have expressed their “delight” in an Egyptian “pro-Democracy” activist being freed in Egypt and allowed to come to the UK. Here are some of his views.

Uhhh this is a pretty bad gaffe. Will be used mercilessly against him by his opponents.

"The BBC understands the activist's messages had not been brought to attention of the prime minister until they were highlighted in recent days - and the government considers them to be abhorrent."

The man Keir Starmer was "delighted" to welcome to Britain today.

A majority (71%) found 2025 was good or average for them. Only 27% found it was bad
But 66% thought 2025 was bad for the UK
That disparity between what people are actually experiencing and how they think the UK is doing, suggests the latter is more to do with perception than reality
