Especially with a paper ticket like yours, & even more especially being non resident in BE - I mean how are you supposed to know? I'd be tempted to jump on board & be ready to (justifiably) plead ignorance.

It's not great them changing the rules like this though. They should've left all current tickets with the validity at time of purchase.

I've figured it out - see screenshot from my multi on the app. They've chopped six months' validity from it (should've been valid till July 2026). Thanks guys...😮

I have 8 trips left on mine. We have trips to both Antwerp & Brussels in a couple of weeks' time so I may well just use them up then & be done with it.

Right, I've only just now read @eoghanwalshbxl.bsky.social's reply. He's right - I'm enjoying the choice in places providing both classic & modern. 't Brugs Beertje is a fine example of a place which does both extremely well.

B & B: you're not wrong, of course - BUT: much as I love the classics (beers & biercafes alike) there's definitely room for more modern options in BE. I've been embracing & enjoying both classic & modern - though post-Liege I was v happy to return to my classics in Brugge!
