I like how in the Batman: The Animated Series episode "Almost Got 'Im", Batman fights a cassowary. It's not mind controlled or genetically enhanced in any way, it just attacks Batman because cassowaries are assholes.

A while back I made a list of D&D 2014 Monster Manual creatures that are NOT in the SRD (and therefore not part of the OGL, I assume).
I added some thoughts on whether you could realistically get away with making your own version of them.

A while back I made a list of D&D 2014 Monster Manual creatures that are NOT in the SRD (and therefore not part of the OGL, I assume).
