Confused and a bit annoyed by this. In the summer I'll often charge my car using electricity from our solar panels. Does this mean I'll be paying tax on power we've generated ourselves? www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Electric vehicle owners to face pay-per-mile tax
Drivers of electric cars will pay a road charge of 3p per mile, while plug-in hybrid drivers will pay 1.5p per mile from April 2028.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Please imagine a migrant group doing this in England and the media response. Then let's look at the very real problem there is with English Nationalism.
Just some British patriots in Benidorm, taking over a street in Spain to shout in their own language about unwanted foreigners. It’s a blessing that they are too thick to understand irony.

The thing that worries me when reading this is that the SEND crisis is being looked at totally separately to wider issues in the education sector. We need educational reform to make mainstream a safe environment for more students. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.

Please take a minute to read their letter, & share it with the people in your life who need to hear the truth about the people they are protesting.
