These watches appear to be ripoffs of famous designs. Likely from some factory that normally produces "homage" watches and they just swapped out the branding.

There should be no claim on the LMI if the property increases in value.

It can happen in markets like Perth if people buy at the peak and their property loses value. If the sale cannot recoup the loan, then the LMI claim is made, and the insurer can chase the borrower for the money.

I always have a simple calculation I do with clients. If their monthly rent and savings is higher than the proposed monthly loan repayment, they will be fine taking out a loan.

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

Wild to me this guy can spend months drumming up a panic about protest movements and 'universities, the public broadcasters and the public service' being antisemitic hotbeds, then as soon as it's all shown to be utter horsehit and he was wrong all along just glide along without a moment's reflection

Morry Frenkel speaks with Chip Le Grand, Chief Reporter for The Age newspaper, about the articles he has written since the recent arson attack on the East Melbourne Synagogue, the storming of the Israeli restaurant, Miznon, and the arson and graffiti attacks in Greensborough.

Chip talks about the implications of these events – and the rise in antisemitism in general – on the local Jewish and non-Jewish communities, and the need for Victoria Police to uphold the law. He is also critical of the campaign against Australia’s Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism, Jillian Segal and her report, Special Envoy’s Plan to Combat Antisemitism, a policy-oriented framework for government and the Australian community. Chip argues that the strength of the report lies more in its findings of where the problems lie: in universities, the public broadcasters and the public service.

Reading ‘The Mighty Dead’ by Adam Nicolson, I just learned there’s no poultry-feasting in Homer because “chickens … reached the Aegean in about 500 BC, known to the Greeks as ‘the Persian Bird’.”

This is devastating but hard to think of more important journalism. 18,457 children have been killed in Gaza (many more not accounted for). Here, The Guardian prints their names and beautiful faces and tells us what they were like before Israel stole their lives. www.theguardian.com/world/ng-int...

One of the things that gets me about modern politics is that people are now trained to think that it is meant to be exciting, all about the fireworks and drama.

But government and politics should be boring and just about getting shit done, and making sure things run properly.

A constant refrain over the past several years when it comes to Trump (and this comes from both sides is):

Oh, he didn't mean what he said

A little bit later: Oh, he did mean it.

The difference between his first and second terms is now his decisions are affecting MAGA directly.
