Hey everybody, I live in Canada’s boreal forest region. I post images here of my explorations on the lakes and in the boreal forest. I post both current pictures and stuff from the archives. Fan of philosophy. No politics here. Gerry

I’d like my profile here to be one where people can escape from their troubles. I think the images of nature I post is a good way to do that. I hope you enjoy them and please follow me if you like this kind of content. Thanks.

Winter coming means clear skies, cold weather and northern lights!

I hate septic tanks!!
borealman63.bsky.social
Yeah, this was an issue with the electrical aspect of the pump. What a nightmare.
borealman63.bsky.social
Well, had some problems with the septic pump yesterday so this is how my day went or how I felt at the end of the day. Anyway, I got it all worked out, but it was a “shitty day” if you know what I’m talking about.

Jasmine turning tail and running away.

Haha, yes. This is the mother cat. She doesn’t put up with any nonsense from Jasmine. He barked at her twice. She hissed at him and he ran away.

Face off!

The cat won lol.

It a very large lake (surface area of 1 million acres) and it has 14,522 islands on it. It’s located on the Minnesota/Ontario border- the southern basin is in MN.

Actually, looking at this picture, I think those might be turkey vultures and not eagles.

Hi Annette, yes, everyone is saying the same thing. They think it’s an Evening Primrose too.

Haha, maybe. I’ll ask my wife if she wants some.
