Trump’s chaos can obscure the bigger picture

But the data is clear

Pro democracy litigators are winning two thirds of the time

And 76% when including immigration cases

@democracydefendersfund.org is part of that coalition

Your support makes it possible to push back and win against autocracy -TN

BREAKING: Massive anti-U.S., pro-Greenland protests have erupted in Copenhagen

Let that sink in, one of America’s closest allies is publicly protesting out of fear we might invade their territory

So much for the claim that “the world respects the U.S. under Trump.”

The reality? It’s the opposite.

ICE is morphing into Trump’s secret police force before our eyes

The agency is shunning norms of law enforcement and becoming a militarized wing of Trump's political agenda — and it's going to get worse.

I went on a ride along with Will today because I was trying to understand how a mobile patrol works. If you've ever fantasized about being either Spider-Man or Ned Leeds I would recommend going to Defend612 to volunteer. (Spider-Man: patrol. Ned Leeds: dispatch/notetaking/plate checks.)
I don’t want to jinx anything, but ICE presence in South Minneapolis has been MASSIVELY down the last two days, and also far less militarized. Very few masks and uniforms, and efforts to disguise their vehicles. Community watch has been suffocating them, I think.

-Her wife who had to watch
-The Mayor of Minneapolis
-The Governor of Minnesota

-The motherfucker who actually shot and killed her

I will not vote to fund DHS & ICE while they are putting Americans in danger, recklessly violating laws and decency, and refusing to be held accountable for or allow any oversight of their actions.

Congress must provide checks and balances to an Administration out of control.

Trump is privately worried about the "optics" of ICE raids and his advisers are looking for ways to soften them, Axios reports. I'm calling bullshit: The terror and violence cannot be hived off from the broader policy agenda. They are 100% intrinsic to it.

So the president doesn’t like the “optics” of what ICE is doing. But there’s no such thing as sanitized, popular mass deportations—and this is by design.
