I’m waiting for two more ugly Christmas sweaters including this year’s edition from the CTA. You can never have enough and this one has a perfect sentiment for this holiday and year.

Bless the newsroom at WIRED. They put Elon Musk's claims that one could use Grok's "Unhinged" mode to roast friends to the test. Turns out that, much like Musk's other promises, this also failed to deliver. www.wired.com/story/elon-m...

It went about as well as you’d expect.

This still happens at Palmisano Park, despite the signage that says the hill is not for sledding. Then when the cheap sleds break and the collapsed cardboard boxes shred from being soaked, they leave them there for the Park District to dispose. #America
I’m sorry but I can’t stop laughing, yeah we would sled down hills in the winter with whatever we had on hand, toboggans, crazy carpets, tubes 😂 someone always got injured because of jumps on the hills or wipeouts #Canada

Peter Thiel is disturbingly obsessed with the Antichrist. Almost as if he's trying to deflect others from scrutinizing him as being the genuine article.
In newly leaked audio, Peter Thiel admits he urged JD Vance to ignore Pope Leo XIV on moral questions — including the ethical development of AI.

He goes even further, branding Leo “the woke American pope” and suggesting he’s a tool of the Antichrist.
NEW: JD Vance’s Top Donor Suggests Pope Leo XIV is Antichrist
In a leaked lecture, Peter Thiel says he’s urged Vance to ignore the pope on moral questions — and simply pray for him.

This morning on his podcast, Dan Savage declared RFK Jr. "the face of felching" and there is no amount of alcohol or drugs that can scrub that image from my brain.

"Alan Dershowitz" and "charismatic figure" are mutually exclusive terms. And the last time I saw Dana Loesch was on an informercial for a sketchy nutritional supplement.

Bari Weiss does not know "where the majority of Americans actually are."
"elevate charismatic figures such as Alan Dershowitz"

He always wants the smoke.
A new kind of rapid Chotining. Please appreciate the alt-text.

Rogue One should be number two, imo.
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”

Congressman Cyclops was acting like an American tourist in Mexico instead of a government official? Shocked, I tell ya.
News: CIA officials in Mexico City sent a cable to Langley flagging Rep. Dan Crenshaw’s behavior during an August delegation meeting — raising concerns about drinking and decorum in front of Mexican officials.

Notable here that Nuzzi missed one of her editing assignments for the new VF issue. One she fulfilled, though, was her book excerpt.
The forthcoming print edition of Vanity Fair includes an abstract nude portrait of Olivia Nuzzi, @nataliekorach.bsky.social reports, writing about how the growing scandal is raising questions about the decision making at the magazine.

Dipshit is smashing out a car window with his gun, barrel first. Just rogue, cowboy stiff.

There were two US citizens in the car. They were apprehended and detained for “obstructing” ICE by honking their horn to let people know ICE was in the neighborhood.

Monday’s episode of The Daily is going to be interesting. (Unless the topic is MTG resigning from Congress and the NYT sent a reporter to diners in her district to ask for their opinions on the move.)
