One thing about going thru a rough patch is that if you have a solid crew, they step up in ways that make you so grateful.
From friends picking up the kids while we dealt w shit, to a freezer full of food ready to be heated up and an epic spread of snacks, treats, and flowers.

There are an absurd number of boutique basses out there (I own one) but that kinda makes sense to me seeing as most ensembles have a bass player - the number of incredible, wildly expensive custom octave mandolins out there simply defies logic.
