Ok I turned the lock auto lock back on and the problem happened again. So I’m convinced it’s some kind of bug with that.

In the meantime I turned it all off again and allowing it to sleep after two minutes of no activity instead.

May end up doing a reset anyways or wait for an update

I may have solved that weird iPad problem, so far it hasn’t done it for a few hours.

I straight up dug through a few years of posts and found something from 2013 about a quirk of the front camera and the lock screen functionality.

The camera on the new one is on the side instead of the top

So as my hand swiped over it was activating a function where you cover a sensor that makes it think you closed a cover over it.

So stupid. Turns out they never fixed it or altered it.

Reinstalled social media apps, issue still came up, not as horribly frequent, but still happening. Maybe it’s an iOS issue.

Searching I found that it could be some corrupted data but I can’t even begin to find what that data could actually be.

Any assistance is welcome
