Worth keeping in mind: every natural disaster provides windfalls in sales & profits to capitalists in the cleanup, construction, & related businesses. Denial of global warming & the resulting worsening, more frequent disasters, serve those industries as well as causing many of us unnecessary harm.
Americans who lost everything to wildfires & extreme weather have waited more than a year for federal disaster aid.

How do you measure productivity? Let’s start by talking about the engineering obsession with quantitative metrics. You can easily measure productivity on an assembly line. The faster a car comes off the line at a given quality level, the more productive you are.
