Ah, I'll bet the subversion of the Australian government began much sooner! From the OSS to the CIA, as WWII ended they were out to replace European colonial influence all around the world, thru interventions of all sorts, including among intellectuals as well as politicians.

Although this thread is about misconceptions of "productivity" in software production, it's applicable in general. Economists always limit "output" to what was intended by bosses, ignoring all the side effects & byproducts that harm workers, consumers, & the environment.
How do you measure productivity? Let’s start by talking about the engineering obsession with quantitative metrics. You can easily measure productivity on an assembly line. The faster a car comes off the line at a given quality level, the more productive you are.

Despite lousy US school history textbooks, which hide uncomfortable history, YOU can still learn and see the parallels by reading: D. Peukert, Inside Nazis Germany: Conformity, Opposition, and Racism in Everyday Life, 1982. Tim Mason, Social Policy in the Third Reich (1993).

The data centers are also stealing underground water, unregulated in many states, like Texas. So they follow in the footsteps of other capitalists, from agribusiness to bottled water companies, stealing what should belong to all of us at minimum cost.
Apparently our electricity bills are going through the roof and this is partly related to data centers that hog huge amounts of electricity to generate information. I, for one, feel hopping mad about this. The companies that are using the data centers should bear the cost.

You know, they are not only pretty little things, with winged seeds to blow, but their young leaves make a nice addition to salads. Just don't take 'em all, leave some, so the plants thrive.😊

"fatally shot"? Newspeak. The man was MURDERED in cold blood! But then ABC has sold its soul completely, so no wonder.

I wonder if the AFL-CIO is just acting out of solidarity or because they see the writing on the wall? The Nazis came for the unions after attacking their political opponents, i.e., retribution! Trump et al. will do the same if not stopped. Read: Tim Mason, Social Policy in the Third Reich, 1993.
America’s unions stand in solidarity with our @mnaflcio.org union family as they stand up to the federal government’s militarized immigration enforcement, fight for truth and freedom, and demand ICE peacefully leave Minnesota.

Our solidarity is our strength. When we fight, we win.

Say it loudly & MORE clearly: ICE = Trump's Gestapo. This is fascism in action, just like in Nazis Germany shortly after the Nazis takeover of the country. After immigrants, they're coming for political opponents, then trade unionists! Read up: Tim Mason, Social Policy in the Third Reich (1993).
Don’t let this White House lie to you. Believe what you see.

Alex Pretti was trying to help a woman off the ground. Then immigration agents tackled, shot, and killed him.

It’s time for them to get the hell out of MN.

LOL, oh so true. This year, I discovered my 25-yr-old Honda Civic, which still runs well w/no problems, is classified as a “Classic Auto” in Texas & no longer requires annual inspection. 😊👍Although you'd think older vehicles would need MORE inspection, hey, I ain't gonna complain.
A kill switch only works if you keep buying the cars.
So don’t.
Old truck. Paid off. Unimpressive, but reliable.
Freedom doesn’t look the way they trained you to think.

They DO "conspire", only they call it "policy making", usually behind closed doors. Read Silvia's poem, "In Praise of Conspiracy Theory" Midnight Notes, #9, May 1988. la.utexas.edu/users/hcleav...

Whether in the UK or in the US, the hold of Zionists over far too many bought-off politicians has NOT been broken & people continue to suffer the consequences in Palestine & among supporters elsewhere. Zionist fascism, whether in Palestine or abroad MUST continue to be exposed & fought.

"All to please a wannabe king"? In minds of some of the agents, perhaps. But the entire operation is much more than that; it's an effort to cow resistance to the replacement of our pseudo-democracy with a theocratic, authoritarian state, much like the one in Iran, but White Christian instead.
All to please a wannabe king who is demented and thrives on violence.

Given the declining number of coal miners, the entire world coal-mining labor force could be pensioned off handsomely & the entire industry shut down. Twould be good for the miners, the rest of us & the planet.
In 2000 95% of Poland's electricity was from coal. Today it is 51%. Total coal generation in TWh dropped by 36%.

Judges TRIES to block feds. Short of seizing the evidence, taking it out of the fascists' hands, there is no guarantee it won't be destroyed by those who flaunt the law daily.

"Our government" is too broad to target. ICE agents murdered. Say it loudly & clearly: ICE = Trump's Gestapo. This is fascism in action, just like in Nazis Germany. After immigrants, they're coming for political opponents, then trade unionists!
Tim Mason, Social Policy in the Third Reich (1993).
Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old U.S. citizen and Minneapolis resident, was murdered by ICE today. He was a lawful gun owner. Our government saw his Second Amendment right as a threat and executed him in the streets.

THAT nurse is correct. It has always been about control. Smart capitalists try to harness our energy; fascist ones try to repress it, but it's still control in both cases. Trump is guilty of mass murder during the pandemic!
The nurses are pissed

Never forget, the mass media is all owned by capitalists & it will always ere on the side of authority in the presence of any doubt about what has happened. They don't own it to spread truth but to manage what people know & don't know, to make it easier to control them. Only the slant varies.
A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.
January 25, 2026 at 1:47 PM
Yep! Well said. The terrorizing of first immigrant communities & then whole cities is clearly to cow any resistance to the replacement of our pseudo-democracy with an authoritarian theocracy. If you doubt "theocracy", read MONEY, LIES & GOD (2025).
🚨 Breaking from the US Senator for Connecticut. 👇

There you have it.

ICE has never been about immigration enforcement.

It's a weapon used to brutalize Americans and stoke enough fear so that Trump can rig the elections and usher in dictatorship.

Besieging the bastards is good strategy, on the ground & on TV, when capitalist media bothers to show it, rather than blacking it out by ignoring it - as they do about so many things.
Outside ICE HQ right now!!

Capitalists may worship "private property" but it's a secondary issue compared to the perceived need to discipline workers by terrorizing whole communities. Those abandoned cars are ONE of their reminders of their presence & threat.
This has happened in Maine also. The
Feds just leave cars on the side of the road or even in the road with nobody in them in the dead of winter.
