This is a friendly reminder that raw milk is not safe for human consumption despite what wellness influencers will tell you.

For example, 21 people, including 6 under the age of 10, got E. coli or Campylobacter infections after drinking raw milk from the same farm in Florida.

Ventolin, the brand name for albuterol or salbutamol, was first sold in 1968. The first generic inhaler was not approved in the US until 2020 due to manipulation by the pharmaceutical industry. Because there are still so few approved “generic” alternatives it remains cost prohibitive for many people

He needed air. The price was $539.

When OptumRx dropped coverage of his $66 inhaler, Cole couldn’t afford the new price.
5 days later, he died from a severe asthma attack—with no inhaler.
He paid with his life.

Here's something everybody should be paying attention to: Congressional Republicans are trying to weaken the Affordable Care Act and put millions of people at risk of losing their health care. Call your Senators and tell them we can't let that happen.
Shhh. Republicans are trying to repeal Obamacare again. Sort of.
They’re not branding it an Obamacare repeal this time around, but congressional Republicans are pursuing cuts to programs that are part of the 15-year-old health-care law.

When I read this today, I clapped out loud sitting alone at my desk.

As a pediatric critical care clinician for 40 years I have taken care of so many children and families devastated by RSV. Phenomenal news.

Gonna share this small piece of good news to maintain my sanity.

Ask your pediatrician for Beyfortus, or better yet get it in the hospital before discharge. It's a game changer. 👇

#RSV rates in infants are falling. Hospitalizations are down 28 % and 43 % for infants less than 7 months in two different networks, as reported in this week's MMWR.

This is real world evidence that maternal immunization and MAbs are protecting this vulnerable populations - #MedSky.
