I wish I was fluent in Japanese so I could have communicated better how beautiful the Peace Wing is.
The Daichi Kamada effect: Two Japanese women each bought their kid new Crystal Palace shirts with "KAMADA" printed on the back. One of them appeared to be from Hiroshima because she had a Sanfrecce keychain on her bag, so we spoke about the Peace Wing for a moment. @aishiterutokyo.bsky.social

MAGA people don't know how to exist without an appalled audience. Sure, they probably have some half-baked nefarious plans coming over here, but the primary drive is their insatiable emotional need for our attention. Everybody please do your part to deny them it. 🫡
it is my pleasure to report they are indeed mad as fuck on the other site over being blocked and ignored. keep up the excellent work everyone

ICE responded two days after I asked for a statement on Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle making county property “ICE free zones.”

I’m not sure they know who SHE (a cis woman in her position for 15 years + 19 on Chi City Council) is.

They use “he” and “his” so it’s not a spelling error.
The Palace training jackets completely changed the way I use the word haha
I've learned to use "jacket" for brisk weather (like today) and "coat" when I need something for cold temperatures.

i imagine there’s about to be an influx of MAGA chuds spewing their bullshit but i really can’t stress enough that if we don’t give them oxygen, they’ll get bored and leave. block early and often.
i know the desire to fight with these sick freaks is strong but resist the urge and just block. it’s better for your brain.

NEW: “Bands of masked men apprehending people in broad daylight in the streets and hauling them off. Disappearing people to a third country,” a former DHS official said. “We’re at an inflection point in history right now and it’s frightening.”
How Trump is Building a Repressive, Shadowy Federal Police Force
Trump’s DHS appointees have dismantled civil rights guardrails, protected agents’ anonymity and encouraged them to wear masks, threatened groups that stood in their way, and overwhelmed legal challenges to their arrests and tactics.

For the first time in more than 100 years, Chinook salmon have been spotted at the confluence of the Sprague and Williamson rivers in Chiloquin, the government seat of the Klamath Tribes in Southern Oregon.

Salmon clear last Klamath dams, reaching Williamson and Sprague rivers
Just a year after four dams were removed, a group of fall Chinook have migrated nearly 300 miles into the Upper Klamath Basin.

Shohei Ohtani’s three homers in postseason games he pitched (all tonight) are the most of any player in a career in games pitched
Goodbye and good riddance to the Brewers. The biggest bottlers thought they won their World Series in the NLDS.

first everyone vaguely hispanic was MS-13, now they're all tren de aragua, they're not very subtle with their racism
Previously: Friends rented the Airbnb to celebrate a pair of birthdays. There were beers, arepas, and a birthday cake. They were planning to blow out candles and sing the following day.

But first there was a massive, militarized multi-agency ICE raid.
Officials Said They Busted a Tren de Aragua Party. Attendees Beg to Differ.
A highly publicized multi-agency raid in Hays County resulted in dozens of arrests on low-level immigration charges and left an Austin mother's life in tatters. It also fit a pattern of unproven…

Cops led us into the street as the new “protest zone” and then beat us repeatedly.

Got hit in the face with a baton. Leaving to pick up my friends who were arrested.

Stay safe out there.
