I don't know. It's not "The Other Place." Here's hoping this place doesn't implode like all the others. Otherwise, making it up as I go πŸ˜…πŸ™ƒ

My spicy psych take is that the entire concept of what is neurodivergent vs neurotypical needs to be reevaluated. The way we communicate and the way our minds process information in the last few decades is such a wild shift from the rest of human history that nothing can be measured in the same way.

Apologies as I can't comment on OP (I do respect the OPs decision FYI) That said, interest in the US, from people outside the US, has led me back to what's happening there as well (And SURPRISE! A LOT of the shit happening here, is happening in their countries too! So Non-US politics = Important too
One thing that I do kinda dislike about Bluesky is how focused it is on American politics. Like that's seemingly the default topic and that us non-American users are obligated to talk about it all the time.

production of The Muppet Show should not be dependent on petty vulgarities like β€œratings” or β€œrevenue.” it should be preserved as a vital function of american culture. it should have a taxpayer-funded budget rivaling the CIA

Bare with me, this post made my day lololol
But uh...FML! Took me all of the last 25 minutes to realize...

How the fuck did I NEVER see one of these!?

Quick thinking/reaction time and stealth/speed skills feels, I mean, SEEMS more important than drawing/designing a graphic. Death Fart is more elaborate than people I didn't know in high school🀣
Because one key thing IS part design, but it's being able to sin/draw name/image in 1-2 strokes (3+🚫)
February 6, 2026 at 5:09 PM
Eh screw it! I'll chime in. lol
So with tagging like this, "graphic skill" helps, sure. But doesn't disqualify anyone!😼
This graffiti style/tactic, is more like, guerilla-warfare: hit hard! Fast! Effectively! Vanish before anyone even blinks! SPEED>SKILL (I totally never did this in high school)🀣🀭

@vivziepop.bsky.social So like, there are SOOO many mind-blowing fan-made songs and covers of the HellaVerse...
But Season 2 of Hazbin "covers" & "fan""made""songs," have been Ai and...Le sigh. (I abhor copyright striking usually...But in this case, you shoul...I mean...I do, make an exception!) πŸ˜…πŸ™€πŸ˜Ώ

If Stephen Miller is still in the White House, that means the white nationalist gameplan is still all systems GO.

What we're witnessing is just window dressing and distractions.

Tom Homan is just as bad as Bovino, but less openly Nazi.

Keep your eyes wide open.

Interesting. Bovino takes the fall, conveniently. Yes, he’s evil, a pychopath and incompetent, but he’s also their scapegoat. He was following their evil orders.

FIRE KRISTI NOEM.

Stephen Miller needs to go. He’s the lunatic mastermind of all of this.

In fact, I found them downright offensive...Even the (highly questionable AltNPS) is way better and "with-it" the Alt"NOAA"
Like...Ugh yikes! πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Followed them almost immediately after joining BlueSky...Unfollowed and muted in less than a week...Very, uh...Military Interventionist and nationalist when I wanted info from NOAA that was officially "not aligned" with the regime...NOT 1 damn thing weather/climate related (At that time anyway)

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call β€œsymbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

Billionaires are really good at ruining everything.

This includes social media because the last thing they want is for people to connect and be informed. Unless it's brainrot, it's not acceptable.

So, like Twitter, they're ruining TikTok. Not being particularly subtle about it, either.

Other big city mayors like to put themselves next to civil servants who amplify their image of power: cops, firemen, and other city-affiliated folks like local and national politicians or real estate moguls. Zohran is putting himself next to the sanitation workers, the landscapers, the clerks.

Adding to this wonderful summation of what I'm trying to speak to, we are also a country which has memorialized the underground railroad.

The various churches in homesteads and what not its conductors lived in have been preserved as monuments to the spirit of "fuck this evil shit"
Part of knowing US history is knowing about the genocide of native peoples, the slave trade, the failure of reconstruction, etc.

Another part is knowing about John Brown, the IWW, the 1934 San Fransisco General Strike, and others who worked against the above.

this is your reminder, as some Weather approaches, that making "haha southerners can't handle a little snow" jokes is asinine and that the 2021 freeze killed several hundred people in Texas (state says 246, independent estimates put it as high as 700)

Managers basically don't respect the wide and varying nature of what their human front line workers actually do and how they can provide the best experience for your customers *if you let them*

But they've been convinced systems which slot you into predetermined paths are "efficiency"

For one, they all hate the AI assistant getting in the way of simply letting them help people. They're super sympathetic and they hate how it's being forced onto both customers and their work.

But also like... it's clear the vibes of [gestures broadly] are sinking in.
