I realize this was transcribed from violin to clarinet but holy mother of christ....

Forklift arc light mounted to rear of ebike. Projects a red arc around the back of the bike for added visibility.

Thanks to sundance.bikesky.social for this suggestion. Follow them for more tips!

Ebike plus logistics trailer plus sled with kid = winter train!

If you find yourself on the opposite side of an issue from Ms Rachel, you need to seriously re-think your entire decision making process and possibly your entire code of ethics.

Facebook wins the award for "worst algorithm" by FAR.

If you flag something as "I don't want to see this" and then block the person posting it, Facebook considers that to be engagement and shows you much much more of it.

If not for Messenger, Facebook would have been abandoned long ago.

-21 C this morning, and we're playing all of the "winter ebike" hits, including "brittle plastic snaps off in your hand," "LCD display starting to freeze," "dude where's my range," and "I can't feel my face."

I remember signing up for Bluesky and being excited that there is an ebike / micromobility feed.

I'm removing that feed today. It's very demoralizing to see unceasing, relentless attacks on the mode of transportation that completely changed my life for the better, day after day after day.

Our cycling infrastructure is so terrible that I'm jealous of this half-assed sort-of-protected-ish bike lane.

In our city, it would be a single line with 6" of pavement on the shoulder side.
Just paint and plastic are not protection on a unavoidable highway which cuts diagonally through our neighborhood and where speeding drivers have killed several pedestrians. #sandiego #safestreets #bikesky

New trailer configuration for traveling with a solar panel. Was gathering up about 30W, but the heater and the ebike charger draw 270W.

This would work way better in the summer when the sun is high in the sky.

Former Canadian army cadets - take a trip down memory lane! Forgotten Weapons has a video up about the Canadian version of the FN FAL - the C1.

We had to strip and assemble it blindfolded, sleep with it, hold it out in front of us as punishment...share your C1 memories!

EVERY SINGLE ONE of those deaths could have been prevented if someone - ANYONE - was enforcing Ontario's ebike rules. Every single problem people have with ebikes could be ended by LAW ENFORCEMENT.

Making more rules that also will not be enforced changes NOTHING.

Coroner's office calls for clearer definition of e-bikes in Ontario | CBC News
An expert panel is calling on the Ontario government to tighten its definition of what counts as an e-bike, in an attempt to improve safety and reduce the number of fatal crashes.

These are dirt bikes. They're not road legal (without a class M, insurance, signal lights, et al). If you live in a big city, there is zero reason to buy your child a dirt bike.

For Canadians like me who bought an ebike and then the company that sells them went bankrupt, this company builds custom packs as well!
For Canadian owners of Rad bikes needing a safe replacement battery check out
Affordableebikes.ca .
They build battery packs using top quality cells right here in Canada. They can build custom packs to fit any configuration.

The moment you get into a car, Toronto goes from being a city of magic to a city of insane stress. I can't even imagine a Toronto car commute being a part of my everyday life.
Nothing gets the blood pumping like driving through Toronto 🥲

Imagine a world where there are battery standards for micromobility - maybe like two sizes - and you can simply exchange an empty one with a full one like a propane tank exchange.

Ebikes, scooters, mopeds - any electric vehicle could use them. Range anxiety would vanish.

A city that isn't even enforcing current ebike laws is contemplating adding more. 🙄

How long until you need a WALKING license, and any and all free modes of transportation will have monetary barriers?

Ebike-deployable campsite with heated seating mat, campfire, warming trailer, electric kettle (and of course marshmallows).

Howling 45 kph winds and sub-zero temperatures. VERY comfortable. Ty was warm.

Deployed in 5 minutes, and back to road-ready in 5 minutes.

And with an operating cost of essentially $0.00.
E-bike plus trailer and I can transport 5 kids. Try doing that with your mid-sized SUV.
I am very smug on my e-bike with my two kids

It's obsolete. Cursive is basically just another English font now. As long as you can READ it, you're good.
How mamy oomfs can still read and write in cursive? Is this truly a dying skill? I'm appalled
November 12, 2025 at 2:14 PM
Licensing doesn't make car drivers any safer. Licensing for ebikes and scooters would do nothing except throw up a monetary barrier that neuters them as viable transportation for low income people. The poor get screwed over...again.

Testing a new bush/SAR ebike configuration.

Looks like heated seats, heated trailer and powerful searchlights will all work.

We'll be refining this proof of concept further.

Increasing highway capacity won't help Toronto's gridlock at all, because the streets that feed in and out of the highway will have the exact same capacity as before. A tunnel would be just chucking billions of dollars into a black hole.

Try getting people OUT of their cars!
November 7, 2025 at 4:46 PM
Mass murderers? Pedophiles? Rapists? Nah. Cyclists on the sidewalk? TO HELL!!!

People will tolerate a lot of absolutely abhorrent things, but they absolutely WILL NOT TOLERATE a mild inconvenience.
November 6, 2025 at 7:52 PM
Toronto is paralyzed by gridlock most of the time. Doug Ford's solution? MORE CARS! LESS ALTERNATIVES!

How could a person be so stupid?!

Certainly don't buy an e-moto for any unlicensed road use, but "don't buy an e-moto for teens?" C'mon.
When I was growing up kids (myself included) had dirt bikes at like 14. Know your kid, know their abilities. Dirt bikes (electric or otherwise) on dirt bike trails is fine.
‼️ As the holidays approach, devices with electric motors - including e-motos - are the wish lists of many children and teens. This message is to all parents, grandparents, fun uncles, and others who are buying gifts – DO NOT purchase an e-moto for a child or teen ‼️🚫
