Holy shit! With my insurance I pay $16 for 5 U300 solostar pens.
HEY NOW. IPAs are pretty good.
This is why it is so very important NOT to overlook school board trustee elections.

This candidate's pamphlet is red flags from beginning to end. Such a person shouldn't be anywhere NEAR where education decisions are made.
I'll bet you my entire life savings that Mary Flemmings from Innisfail would have zero problem with the Lord's Prayer in school instead of a Land Acknowledgement, and she would not be able to understand the hypocrisy.

Who am I?
Why am I running for School Trustee?

SOGI was introduced by the NDP Government in 2018 (Bill 24). It claims that children as young as 3 years old are sexual beings. This is clear exploitation of very young children and an offense under the Criminal Code of Canada, Section 163. Parental rights are also violated under the Act. SOGI encourages children to choose their own gender and participate in any gender activity they want without parental consent. When willAberta School Boards lobby the UCP Government to repeall abolish Bill 24?

Since Covid 19 and the lockdown, I observed a growing emphasis in our education system on Indiginous ways of knowing and on social and emotion learning (SEL), Both are touted as foundational for the enrichment of our children and both are increasingly thrust upon us with little or no parental consultation. Here is what I question.

1) Do the European traditions that formed our culture and society matter anymore? 2) How does SEL build on our students grasp of math, science, english grammarliterature, etc.?
Land Acknowledgement
3) What can Trustees do to challenge the curriculum?
What are my main concerns?
This is a very sensitive issue. It is my belief that LA is indoctrination. It makes claims that are not true. It needs to be vigorously debated so that everyone especially students, will understand its purpose. LA relies on victimhood and does nothing to advance the economic quality of life for many Indigenous. LA brainwashes children and many adults into believing that their settler ancestors stole Indian land.

From a pedestrian's perspective, I feel safer walking around in Toronto than I do in Sudbury.
$11/pen for (say) Toujeo is pretty good. That beats the no insurance price for Toujeo in Ontario (~$17/pen).
Weird that this same criticism isn't labelled at bicycles, which travel at similar speeds and are even more silent.
The knee-jerk reaction to a new form of transportation is to simply ban it instead of re-evaluating existing infrastructure.
Man who can't make it through question period without hacking a dart is going to kick someone's ass. OK Doug.
"...her blood sugar was 564 at bedtime" 😶
Vaccines? Sure. Following mandates to prevent the spread os a pandemic? Absolutely. Masking when sick? Definitely. Am I willing to fundamentally and permanently change the way that I interact with people IRL? No, I won't do that.
He patented the process for extraction and preparation. That method is now obsolete - we don't have to extract and purify animal insulin anymore. We now use human insulin analogs, have long-lasting and bolus insulin, and genetically-modified bacteria grow it (no more animal torture).
The same people saying nobody wants electric cars are also saying allowing Chinese EVs will destroy our auto industry.

So which is it?
"The motor lobby" 😂

Dude people who just want to get around don't give a shit about the purity of the medium. If you don't like motors on bikes go buy a bicycle.
We can only hope that your trash opinions are not the ones that prevail, and you're reduced to having non-stop tantrums on social media because the big bad ebike has a throttle.
No, those regulations are well-thought-out and rightfully do not discriminate against ebikes with throttles as opposed to PAS.

IMO throttles are essential for winter riding. I want precise control over when my motor kicks in and how much power it puts out.
Incorrect. Pedal assist is not always desirable. A throttle can offer more control over when power is applied, especially if your ebike uses cadence-based PAS.

Fortunately there are already regulations in place regarding what is and is not an ebike.
I'm perfectly satisfied with the current rules in Ontario concerning ebikes.

What would you like to see changed?
How could it not be? If I stop taking insulin, I die. If that's not a disability, I don't know what is.
It absolutely is. Diabetes is considered a permanent disability in Canada. Can't say if that's true in other jurisdictions.
I mean, they're pretty repairable already. Unfortunate that some companies insist on using proprietary battery enclosures (or integrate the battery into the bike frame, thus becoming the Bic lighter of ebikes).
