Not an April Fools’ joke - 💍💒 4/1/25
I swear, classic “bodybuilding meals” are so joyless. You can still eat healthy while treating yourself to a variety of herbs, spices, flavors, cuisines, etc.

Eating chicken breast and brown rice out of Tupperware containers while chugging 3 shakes every day is no way to live life.
Straight men are the unsung proponents of disordered eating RIGHT BEHIND white women.

Protein pushing. “Bulking up.” Diets that are 99.9% meat and nothing else.
Not to mention leaning on purging disorder (excessive exercising).

Oh, I have been WAITING to talk about it.
Jeff Goldblum starting the same disordered eating shit pushed by the director for Wicked, so it's DEFINITELY reaching straight men too 😬

This would be overkill, especially considering that Northwest Stadium is leaving in a couple of years. If anything, you could road diet Medical Center Dr and strengthen the transit-oriented development around Morgan BLVD. @marylanddot.bsky.social #openstreets

The amount of hate Baltimore gets from people that have never been…
Yep, it’s funny when you travel and meet people, and somehow every state and region has a funny quirk of hating the place that has the most Black people nearby.
shit, speaking as a missiouri resident, if theres two places republicans despise in this state its Kansas City and St Louis

One of the strangest aspects of aging that they don't warn you about is watching as history gets rewritten right in front of your face and people 20 years younger than you confidently tell you about something you lived through and get it completely wrong.

If you want people to drive less, transit has to be some combination of being faster/cheaper/convenient than driving.

I love taking DC’s metro for my commute b/c the travel time is shorter, it’s less stressful, and I don't have to pay for parking.
Yet another evidence review argues very strongly that simply providing alternatives to driving doesn't reduce driving

This isn't surprising, if only thanks to habit. If I unthinkingly jump in my car for every trip (as many do), new buses won't change that

When engineers discovered that traditional rock salt was poisoning wildlife during the harshest months, they did something incredible. What they came up with is so brilliantly simple, yet so effective, that other countries are now taking notice. This is what happens when innovation meets compassion.

They halved the gold/exp drops in the US release of Legend of Legaia, I didn’t realize the game wasn’t supposed to be that grueling until years later lmao

Streets of Rage 3 was another one that got cranked up difficulty in the states.
one of the funniest pranks ever played on my generation was the myth that japanese games were way harder than the US versions we got. total switcharoo. we were getting slapped upside the fucking head with rebalances explicitly designed to make you cuss out the Blockbuster clerk.

The way streaming services have been acting lately, the only logical conclusion for consumers is piracy.

You got more value out of cable packages than some of these platforms 🤦🏾‍♂️
