Serious talk, Bill was a family friend, and he'd sometimes sleep over on our couch - the leader of the opposition, sleeping om our couch!

It was only when I was a bit older that I realised "hey, that's not the usual experience for a young kid, and, also, my mum was really cool, eh."

Today marks an anniversary of working for this guvmnt dpt. With many different jobs, roles, assignments, etc.

I told my direct lead "please, no fuss, no morning tea or etc."

What I (and I don't think my lead) realised is that there's an entire email chain of "hey, he's been here for 25 years!"
