Words can buzz and hum like in insects in the air. I'm not actually a cat. But that's a secret. Tawatawa. Pōneke. Aotearoa. I was BuzzAndHum. I stil am.

I really am wishing you all the best, Ms E. The next while is going to fucking suck, but, you've got this. All my love.

I keep seeing bullshit like this, as if spending time volunteering, maybe working, maybe even being *paid* for working for a "left" political party is somehow worse than being through the "Young Nats" pipeline.

(Sorry for the late reply)

I know many have already said this, but let me add my voice to the chorus of "Please, Dolly, don't die now, not when we need you most!'

You suspect he might wear "Lynx Africa" into his 50s?
Certainly has that vibe.

Woah.

The huge amount of water that flows down from the mountains to the sea via that river.

Scary, really.

My dad had more hair.

He's dead, but I still think my dad has more hair.

That S and I are entirely Gen X comes when either of us - or anyone - says the word "more."

Yes, both immediately start singing "And I need all the love I can get, but I want more!"

Thanks, Andrew Eldritch and Jim Steinman... You've ear-wormed an entire generation.

Serious talk, Bill was a family friend, and he'd sometimes sleep over on our couch - the leader of the opposition, sleeping om our couch!

It was only when I was a bit older that I realised "hey, that's not the usual experience for a young kid, and, also, my mum was really cool, eh."

Frankly, by 5 pm on this day I am *really over it.*

Today marks an anniversary of working for this guvmnt dpt. With many different jobs, roles, assignments, etc.

I told my direct lead "please, no fuss, no morning tea or etc."

What I (and I don't think my lead) realised is that there's an entire email chain of "hey, he's been here for 25 years!"

It's really striking how he is simply out-maneuvered by, literally, everyone on any international stage.

Syphilis is also here to stay.

But we don't celebrate that.

"'You have to admit, AI is here to stay.' Well, no, I don’t. Not unless you say what you actually mean. What’s the claim you’re making? Herpes is here to stay too, but you probably wouldn’t brag about it."

Nah, that's not Nicola Willis. I'd recognise here, even with no boats.

Sorry, who were we talking about?

Does anyone recognise this guy shaking hands with Laurence Wong? He seems familiar, but it does seem odd the camera is focused on him rather than Winston.
Laurence Wong, Prime Minister of Singapore, shaking hands with a human thumb? Meanwhile Winston Peters looms out of focus. But he looms.
