Was that the same Paqueta who had previously been investigated for spot betting irregularities in relation to picking up bookings on purpose? Surely not...

Tech oligarchs have been scrambling for products to retain dominance since the plateau of the home computer and mobile phone. Today, they're forcing 'AI' garbage on us while pushing for mass surveillance and war products, even if they have to make the wars to service them. We can reject this future.

Ladies and gentlemen gentlemen, here are Manchester United fans once again to ruin your Christmas with their horrendous array of festive ditties / poverty chants.

New on Always Liverpool | Pondering the two extremes of the word "insufferable" as pertains to the trials and tribulations of Liverpool FC.

The dramatic turn in Liverpool's fortunes have left me pondering the two extremes of the word "insufferable"

Can we stop with the embarrassing 'Give it Stevie til the end of the season' cobblers. Not now, not ever.

Give me the traditional Survivor Series format all day. War Games is such an inferior concept.

Yeah, Konate. But why was he picked tonight? An absolute indictment of the manager.

Finally something football related to raise a smile. Well done, Everton.

Actually really enjoyed this with Dave and Jules. We had a laugh and a moan and a "what the fuck?" and didn't get too much into the weeds of the game. And, of course, the now-ceremonial 'parp' or two.

I see that rent-a-headline simpleton Wayne Rooney has been at it again this morning. At a time when the Beeb is under the most pressure in a generation, do they really need this walking advertisement for abolishing the licence fee on the books?

How did we beat Arsenal?

Would be happy to give back whatever investment gains in my retirement account from AI if it meant the whole thing going up in smoke and fucking off forever. Couldn’t care less about the AI jobs of right now. If you’re working in that sector, you’re amoral at best anyway.

Within 30 days? Those files will just be paper clips in a pile of manila envelopes when they’re released. There’s never true justice when it comes to holding the elite to account.

Any analysis of #LFC this season that doesn’t talk about the impact of losing Jota on the team shouldn’t be taken seriously. We can all be frustrated with them for losing matches, but the death of one of their mates in such utterly horrific circumstances looms large over every single performance.

“We’ve had the nerve to bemoan that greats like Mo Salah – who stood sobbing in front of the Kop just couple of months ago – haven’t been able to put their feelings to one side to perform at their brilliant best. ‘We can’t know how it’s affecting them!’ Well, Mo literally showed us.“

Absolutely love this. These lads can’t let us down this season because they’re doing us proud just by turning up every day.
