I'm currently theorizing that is part of why the violence is ramping up right now -- they know they're at their strongest (not because they are particularly strong right now but because they know the holidays are gonna destroy their support and it's too late to fix it)

I once got QTed by a guy who saw a selfie of me making a specific hand gesture associated with pro wrestling in the US and Japan and decided it was made in support of Turkish fascism. I wouldn’t mind being warned of the context to other cultures but quoting me? Yeesh.

The secret is a lot of them aren't *playing* them.
Source: I've had spurts where I bought an average of a new game every month.
That said, my game purchases are mostly sub-40-dollar indie games; the last full-price game I bought was Tears of the Kingdom.

Two thoughts:
1: There is some evidence elderly sperm donors have higher rates of conceiving autistic children and they don't want to admit they're aging (read: weakening).
2: If autism happens naturally maybe demonizing us is bad, and THAT can't be true.

A theory about this I've seen floating around is that either RFKJ or 47 has had a kid diagnosed autistic (Barron is the name I've seen floated) and they are trying to conjure a way it's definitely in no way their fault.

Also, @jay.bsky.team needs to be made to understand that her company has been in violation of their charter and Delaware law ever since she and @aaron.bsky.team explicitly allowed Jesse Singal to harrass, dox, and threaten trans women on this site. A class action lawsuit is in order.

i think as a transgender journalist, it's acceptable and makes sense for me to ask this

and so, the question, am i not a person as a trans girl and do i not deserve to feel safe here?

At best, Miller hasn't been paying much attention to developments and got handed a bunch of money and/or a renewed sense of relevance from the sponsors of the festival and so didn't feel the drive to check into it.
At worst, he's choosing his profits over his colleagues.
SMH either way.

yeah, i actually do eat a lot more vegan food nowadays because i have seen a bunch of recipes for vegan food online that look delicious

this is, IMO, a much more effective sales tactic for veganism

Channels posting yummy vegan recipes, on the other hand, have quite dramatically altered my diet (even though it's been vegetarian and mostly plant-based for decades).
