DAY 1/ Wall Street Journal: "Shooter was motivated by trans/antifa grievances."

DAY 2/ WSJ finds out the shooter was not trans or antifa, but a Trump supporter who was a huge fan of Charlie Kirk's notorious rival Nick Fuentes.

DAY 3/ WSJ: "We have no idea what motivated the shooter. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

There is a reason why thousands of incredibly bright students overseas want to go to Harvard University.

It is the same reason they don't want to go to conservative Liberty University.

Teaching only convenient facts does not provide a valuable education.

Just to be clear: Brian Kilmeade *did not* endorse euthanizing homeless people. He advocated MURDERING over 700,000 of them.

And on a network that has been *beside itself* over the murder of just one man this week.

JESUS: "Feed, clothe, and provide shelter to the homeless."

CHRISTIANS: "Nah, let's just KILL them instead. Glory!"
Brian Kilmeade endorses euthanizing homeless people: "Involuntary lethal injection, or something. Just kill them."

Apparently, the only thing that Americans agree upon is: Release the Epstein Files.

We are at the point at which contiguous blue states need to openly sign compacts delineating all the legal, permissible ways they will resist compliance with a rogue federal government that is now openly fascist. No unnecessary assistance must be given to these thugs whose aim is to destroy America.

Nonpartisan budget lab at Yale has "calculated that American consumers will have to contend with an average effective tariff rate of 18.3 percent, the highest since 1934. As a result, the center estimates that price increases will cost each household on average $2,400 this year."

From his first day as a candidate, Trump has appeared animated by anger, fear, and, most of all, pettiness, a small-minded vengefulness that takes the place of actual policy making. It taints the air in the executive branch like a forgotten bag of trash in a warm house on a summer day.
Presidential Pettiness
Donald Trump seems to have no theory of governance beyond personal gain and retribution.

Wasn’t she charged in July 2020 when Trump was in office?
GIGO. An accounting & science term: Garbage In, Garbage Out. If you make decisions based on inaccurate, or falsified data, then the outcome will smell. Making economic or trade decisions based on numbers that only satisfy your ego is garbage in.

Trump’s illegal tariffs and budget-busting billionaire tax cuts have run down U.S. job growth but, instead of pulling back from these blunders, an inflamed Trump just blamed the messenger and fired the Commissioner of Labor Statistics.

The numbers showed that the jobs reports for May and June had significantly overestimated the new jobs added. The department revised May’s original estimate of 144,00 down to 19,000, and June’s original estimate of 147,000 down to just 14,000.

Trump’s high tariffs and the chaos surrounding them appear to have slowed growth. The only sector adding a lot of new jobs is healthcare, which is not as exposed to trade policy as other sectors. In contrast, hiring in manufacturing fell to a 9-year low in May.

The President of United States firing the commissioner of the statistics bureau because the unemployment numbers are not good reminds me of that classic Stalin moment, executing the statisticians because they reported too many deaths the 1937 census

I explain that fascists and authoritarians attack teachers not because of anything we do wrong but because of everything we do right — teaching critical thinking, creating safe and welcoming environments for all, and building a ladder of opportunity for everyone.

Please don’t presume this is now an American president making a serious decision for the good of America, not a malignant despot desperate to be seen as a strong man.
