May we all have the confidence and audacity of less than mediocre white men.

Trump: It looks like it’s about $3.1 billion

Powell: I’m not aware of that.

Trump: It just came out

Powell: You just added in a third building

Trump: It’s a building that’s being built

Powell: It was built five years ago.
I don’t want to hear about any polls or predictions until after the ballots have been counted.
This is just so much sometimes. Our country has turned into a bad Twilight Zone episode that won’t stop.

among the many things they don’t tell you about having kids is the amount of money you will shell out to buy various berries
I just downloaded TT again and am on the jet2holiday side of it. May I never leave it. My side hurts from laughing so hard. #ifykyk
Horrifying. I can’t stop thinking about this and the countless people going to churches of hypocrisy justifying this as okay. The trauma will last forever for him, and the other children, moms, dads, grandparents, innocent people going through this hell. Do we have any decent humanity left?
NEW: Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s lawyers seek permission to file an amended complaint in his civil case in Maryland.

Among other things, the amended complaint “includes Abrego Garcia's first-hand account of torture and mistreatment at CECOT…”
Exactly. These are crimes against humanity. I hope other nations start to sanction us since we aren’t part of the ICC.
We're going to need Nuremberg trials when this is over, yes, and to send a significant number of people currently in the federal government to prison. But we're going to need an unwavering commitment to ostracizing the supporters of it, as well. Never accept them again in polite society.
“In Cell 15, Plaintiff Abrego Garcia and 20 other Salvadorans were forced to kneel from approximately 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with guards striking anyone who fell from exhaustion. During this time, Plaintiff Abrego Garcia was denied bathroom access and soiled himself…”
I’m really at a loss in general right now. How does one put words to all of this?
First, hate the name as if it’s an amusement park. The people excited about countless innocent moms, dads, grandparents, and children being kidnapped and forced into inhumane conditions are morally bankrupt. If Jesus appeared in their “churches” they would also have him sent to a concentration camp.
The stats don’t show that ICE is detaining the criminals Trump is claiming.

So what kind of immigrants are they going to put on Alligator Alcatraz—in tents, surrounded by gators during hurricane season?

• Asylum seekers
• Day laborers
• Moms with expired visas
• Farm pickers
• Construction workers

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.
Grateful for the grocery shops that don’t add fascism to the brew.

Karen Bass: "The 100 National Guard soldiers that are downtown LA are guarding one federal building, so there is no need for this...it's all part of an experiment that is taking place in Los Angeles...what happens when the federal government intervenes and takes power away from a governor & mayor?"

Protests in LA are fueled by a commitment to love, justice, and freedom for all! Keep it peaceful. Authoritarians want to provoke violence. Solidarity is our strength.
