In her career, she won four World Championships. She is a member of the IIHF Hall of Fame and Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. She was one of the first women inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

On this day in 1984, Scotty Bowman won his 691st regular season game, passing Dick Irvin for most coaching career wins. Bowman finished his career with a record 1,244 wins and nine Stanley Cups (a record). He only missed the playoffs once as coach (1985-86).

Carney focuses on the constitutional questions: the confidence of the Commons.

Poilievre focuses on a normative question: legitimacy and fair play.

A good example of why we shouldn't treat constitutional conventions as moral rules.

Very interesting article on why some people act during a crisis while others are paralyzed. I would say it is an impulse that drives people to respond the way they do. Some are very brave and others act like George Constanza.
