It would have been my best friend's birthday today, she died 4 years ago. She was 3 years older than me and I'd take the piss about that but now I'm older than she ever got to be, which is weird.

The problem with the "Farage was a racist" story is that we have a "left wing" gov't essentially saying that racism is a normal and expectable response to immigration. We are in a position where we have to argue "why it is wrong to be racist" and Labour need to take some responsibility for it

It's especially egregious when studies show women feel more lonely than men. Where's the cries of an epidemic for that, exactly? Where's the focus on the mental health impact of loneliness on women and the action we need to take?

We got a debt collection letter for a water bill we paid weeks ago and after literally hours of phone calls getting it sorted when we were told they "misallocated our funds" they wanted to charge us a £100 admin fee 😀. This country, I stg.

I don't doubt that some women feel unsafe walking in the dark, but this article would have been much improved if the writer had included the information that most violence against women is committed by people we know and not by randoms on the street.

If only there were some way, mathematically, to defeat 33% of the population. Alas, it is impossible, and Labour have no choice but to acquiesce to their every demand and nevertheless accept their humiliating defeat as a fait accompli.
