Exactly the same can be said for Rosie Duffield who was first elected here on a pro-LGBT ticket & made her speech at Canterbury Pride. Fast forward 3 yrs and she's working with her anti-abortion and anti equal marriage mate, Miriam Cates
The real reason JK Rowling is comfortable with her choice is that she shares far more than a "single opinion" with Donald Trump. A persistent myth that needs to be pushed back against is that Rowling was ever the character she pretended to be on Twitter. She's a conservative activist. Always was.

And yet, when someone's daughter is executed by ICE, he shares Right-Wing propaganda that she deserved it.

It is interesting to note where we are in terms of the dying Empire. We are no longer lying about colonial imperialism and the use of force abroad. We are still lying about the violence being used in the imperial core. One wonders how long that will continue.
