It's not just a Starmer thing, this govt is as shit as any other it's just more pleased with itself.

Politicians like talking about pubs coz they think it's populist but they don't actually care about the industry or high st decline because that would involve thinking about the bigger picture

So in the past few weeks we've had:
- drinking out is too expensive because of the minimum wage
- we'll fix things by letting pubs stay open til 2am even though they're empty
- let communities buy pubs even though they don't make any money

So glad for my industry that the sensibles are in charge.
